In April, St. Joseph & St. Swithun Parish launched its first youth group.
Forty-five young people gathered in the church hall for an evening of prayer, catechesis, and games. Parish volunteers gave up their Saturday evening to help provide a safe space for friendship and growth in faith, especially in friendship with Jesus.
The group was announced to continue monthly. The next get-together will be held on Saturday 16th May, from 7.00–9.00pm, for ages 11–18.
Volunteers are still needed, and families are invited to register their children through the parish office.
