A new national Catholic awards scheme will recognise the work of young people in the church, their parish and the community – and it’s set to launch at St Joseph’s Church.Faith In Action encourages people to build on their gifts and talents, and develop their skills, to become disciples of the modern world.
When young people and children register for the award, they will be asked to share the good work they have been doing in four reflective sessions throughout the year. At the end of each year, an awards ceremony will recognise the achievements of these young people. This year’s event will be attended by Archbishop Peter Smith.
The Faith In Action awards scheme launches at St Joseph’s Church on Saturday 28th January at 11am. Anyone who would like to register for this year’s awards should come along.
