Our parish Consolation group When we experience a loss, especially if this is of someone we love, we may find it difficult to cope. Our parish ‘Consolation Group’ offers friendship, support and someone to whom we can speak in confidence, without judgement. Many people find this helpful. Please join us at the Presbytery, 1 Orchard Road on 24 November for a cup of tea and a chat. You will find a warm welcome.
Cruse Bereavement Care
A national organisation offering help to all bereaved people, no matter who they are or where they come from. The West Kent Branch at Tonbridge offers one to one counselling, and trained counsellors visit people in their own homes. A Bereavement Support Group meets in Tunbridge Wells. No charge is made, though donations are welcome. The office opens on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10.30 - 1.00. Phone 01732-353575.
Beginning Experience
This is a ministry for those who know the pain and loneliness of losing a loved one through separation, divorce or death. The work is carried out by a trained team of volunteers at special weekend gatherings which encourage participants to share their need, and deal with the natural process of grief and loneliness. www.beginningexperience.org

Marriage Encounter Weekends offer couples an opportunity to grow closer, helping them to refocus on the values that are really important to them and to live more joyful and purposeful lives.
