Autumn of Life for senior citizens meet for meals on a regular basis.
The following are dates for meals this summer @ 12.30 pm [except The Crown when we must be seated by 12.30pm so meet at 12.15pm]:  Tues. 3 May - The Pickhurst;   Mon.16 May - Bromley Court;  Tues.31 May - The Pickhurst;  Mon 13 June - Bromley Court;   Mon 27 June - The Crown;  Tues. 12 July - The Pickhurst;  Mon.25 July - Bromley Court Hotel.  
We have a great time with approximately 20 friendly people attending each time.   The Pickhurst  lunch costs £8 for 2 courses and includes a tip.   This meal is carvery style but also caters for vegetarians.   The Crown will cost a similar amount but Bromley Court are now increasing their charge to £13.50 for 2 courses, not inc. tip.   Therefore this will now be £15 to include a tip.
If you wish to come for a meal please call Gina on 84643742 by the evening before the event so that tables can be booked on the morning of the lunch.        

                             Consolation Group
When we experience a loss, especially if this is of someone we love, we may find it difficult to cope. Our parish ‘Consolation Group’ offers you friendship, support and someone to whom we can speak in complete confidence, without judgement.  Many of us find this helpful.    Please join us at the Presbytery, 1 Orchard Road,   from 4.30—5.30 pm for a cup of tea and a chat - see newsletter for next date.

WHIST    -   We hold a Whist Drive every 3rd Saturday of month at 8pm in our Club Room.   Newcomers welcome - just turn up or see newsletter for more details or any alterations.

World Youth Day  -  Madrid 2011

Meet other young people, 18-30 while travelling as part of the Diocesan group.  Cost £500.

Town Centre Chaplain

Irish Dancing
Meet in our hall at 3.30pm on Wednesdays.   The class for beginners, aged 4 upwards, at 4.30-5.30pm was not successful but may begin again after Christmas.  Call Carly on 07985194839

Care for the Family are an interdenominational organisation who run many talks/courses/weekends away for parents with children and fight for justice and Christian rights in Parliament.

Their evenings are full of humour as they share their own experiences with their own teenagers.
